We cleaned Merrily for the Holidays on Saturday, Dec 6th! Mark Salinas and the Kids Breakfast Club treated us to fluffy scrambled eggs and tall stacks of pancakes! Thank you Mark! And Principal Jessica Saavedra rallied a great crowd of students and parents. After collectively cleaning 5 miles of local streets, the Glassbrook 1st-6th graders loved the raffle of liter soda bottles and other prizes!
Glassbrook Families enjoy a hearty breakfast. Thank you Mark Salinas and Mark’s Mom who pitched in too!
We had a great turnout of Glassbrook Families, along with many from Tennyson High School, Mount Eden, Moreau Catholic and Chabot. We appreciate you all !
Everyone heads to litter grabber checkout — special thanks to Rosalva Ruiz, Maria Radilla, Maria Fernanda Ruiz, Chistopher, and Rosa for organizing the check out and check in. You always do a fantastic job for us!
Our Neighborhoods very own Elisa Marquez, City Council Member, cleaned Huntwood and collected lots of debris for removal by the City Street’s Department Truck. Thank you to all who generously pitched in!
Next Cleanup is Saturday February 7, 2015!
See You Then at Glassbrook!
