Saturday, December 8th saw 67 Glassbrook Parents, Students, Neighbors and AmeriCorps volunteers turn out for a great morning of Holiday Cheer and “Giving Something Back” to our neighborhood!

We cleaned 5 miles of local streets and brightened the neighborhood!
We are optimistic that the City’s new Illegal Dumping Ordinance will reduce the flood of large items dumped on our streets.

Many Glassbrook kids were thrilled at the prize raffle after the Cleanup! Special Thanks to Principal Jessica Saavedra for rounding up prizes and to Cleanup Leaders Rosalva Ruiz and Maria Radilla for getting Mi Pueblo to donate many gift cards. These thrilled the kids and their parents!
